Quick checks
- 1Confirm Location Services are enabled for Anchorage Risk.
- 2Check your internet connection before requesting live weather.
- 3Open Offline Data and confirm the regional pack says Installed.
- 4Increase the scan radius if an offshore pin contains no nearby land or seabed samples.
- 5Close and reopen the app after changing permissions.
Frequently asked questions
Location troubleshooting
If Current GPS is unavailable, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Anchorage Risk and allow location access while using the app. You can always plan by selecting a location manually.
Data and privacy
Recent planning locations are stored on the device for convenience. Live weather and official-alert requests send the selected coordinates to the applicable weather service.
